Day 1 : Bangalore to Mysore – The cultural capital of Karnataka, Mysore is one of the cleanest cities in India. The city boasts of the majestic Mysore palace which entrances the visitors with royal beauty. Constructed in grey granite and pink marble, the palace has beautiful arch, pillars, sculptures and many other highlights to display. Another popular attraction of the city is Jaganmohan Palace and Art Gallery that exhibits fascinating works of the Indian artists. Jayalakshmi Vilas Mansion and St. Philomena’s Church are other worthwhile attractions. Day 2 : Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary – Located about 16 km from Mysore on the banks of River Kaveri, Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary is a perfect place for the bird-watchers. The sanctuary is a part of a biome that makes it a wonderful place for the nature explorers. You may come across some of the most attractive bird species that include painted stork, lesser whistling duck, Asian Openbill stork and black-headed ibis. Crocodiles, flying fox, mongoose and other mammals too reside at this park. It is a memorable experience to explore the flora and fauna of the park on a boat ride.

Day 3 : Hassan – A small town in Karnataka, Hassan is no small in stature as it flaunts two of the most popular temples built using Hoysala architectural style. The marvelous Chennakesava Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and has many impressive architectural wonders to its credit. Another one is Hoysaleswara Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and equally enthralling in terms of architectural excellence.
Overnight at Hassan
Day 4 : Gomateshwara statue – Morning- Post breakfast drive to Karwar. Visit the Devbagh and Kurumgad Beach, the two most popular beaches at Karwar. You have options for water sports such as snorkelling or diving at Devbagh Beach. Evening- Visit the Karwar beach. The palm fringed sea side of Karwar is a great place to enjoy some peaceful moments on your own. Also visit the Sadashivgad Hill Fort and the Naganatha Temple which are among the prime attractions at Karwar.
Stay overnight at Karwar.
Day 5 : Karwar – Mangalore – Morning- Post breakfast drive to Murudeshwar 120 kms away from Karwar. On reaching explore the Murudeshwar beach and the temple. Enjoy the view of the second tallest Shiva statue in the world, with the sparkling sea at its backdrop. Later continue your journey to Mangalore. Evening- Reach Mangalore and relax at your hotel.
Overnight at Mangalore
Day 6 : Mangalore – Morning- As per your departure schedule, you will be transferred at the Mangalore International Airport to board your flight back home.
